Della Terra Mountain Chateau, Estes Park Wedding

Christina and Dean had the perfect wedding at the ever picturesque Della Terra Mountain Chateau in beautiful Estes Park, Colorado, in early June. They started their wedding day with their best friends getting ready for the big day ahead. Christina and her besties celebrated in their getting ready robes and popping champagne by the onsite waterfall, before each bridesmaid carefully assisted Christina into pulling together her final wedding day look back in the luxurious bridal suite.

Fully dressed and excited to see Dean for the first time, Christina and I went out to Dean on the reception deck by the iconic love sign for their intimate first look. The two shared smiles and giggles as the excitement for the day ahead grew, all while their nerves instantly settled upon being with one another once again.

Dean and Christina's ceremony was one of the most beautiful and emotionally charged ceremonies I have ever documented. Filled with laughter, tears, and endless smiles. Della Terra's gorgeous outside ceremony site was the perfect backdrop for it all with wildlife chittering away in the background and lush greenery all around. Once the ceremony concluded, all of the guests in attendance lined up for Christina and Dean's bubble receiving line.

From there we got through family photos, and moved on to wedding party and bride & groom photos in the beautiful green space just beyond Della Terra's ceremony space. Yellow wildflowers were in bloom, and we could see snowcapped mountain peaks through the tremoring trees. Despite the venue being just to our right, we felt deeply immersed in nature and were able to savor the intimate, secluded oasis the forest provided us before returning to the reception hall to prepare for the grand entrance.

Christina and Dean were welcomed into their reception as glowing newlywed with abundant cheers, and surprised everyone in attendance with - not a first dance - but a first song. With Dean manning the keyboard and Christina taking to vocals, the two blew their audience away with their musical talent and palpable love for one another. Christina later shared that this was probably her favorite part of the whole day! Of course, traditions are traditions, and the two did still share their first dance after finishing their first song, and it was just as beautiful.

The rest of their night carried on with sweet toasts, a cake cutting with a samurai sword, and colorful lights beaming across the dance floor. Christina and Dean truly had a wedding day to remember!
