When planning Christina and Charlie's engagement session, there were two things they knew they wanted included: snow and their two dogs.

We decided the perfect place to get their requests for snowy romance and silly dog pics would be at a mountain lake close to Christina and Charlie's hearts - the Brainard Lake area! So, we set a date for the middle of March and counted down the weeks until it was time to create some magic.

The day of Christina and Charlie's engagement session was gorgeous! We had beautiful, chilly weather with the perfect amount of snow we were all hoping for. We parked in the Brainard Lake Recreational Area winter lot and took a short hike up to the nearest lake. The lake was completely frozen over, and the mountains were hugged by heavy clouds. It was the perfect spot to play in the snow, bribe the pups with plenty of tasty treats, and capture all the fun and sweet elements of Christina and Charlie's 11 year relationship.
