Darcy and Spencer celebrated their beautiful, early March wedding at the gorgeous Tapestry House by Wedgewood Weddings in Laporte, Colorado, just north of Fort Collins. Their wedding was down to earth, romantic, and brimming with love. The two wanted their big day to reflect their love for not only each other, but also their families. Happy tears and joyful laughter permeated throughout their wedding day, and the two were the ultimate vision of romantic love!
Darcy started the day early getting ready off site with hair and makeup done by her incredible Maid of Honor. Finally ready to get dressed, Darcy and her five bridesmaids arrived at Tapestry House where I met up with them. Once the happy group got settled, Darcy changed into her gorgeous, floral applique wedding dress with beautiful illusion lace detailing with the help of her Maid of Honor and mom. She read a sweet letter from her soon-to-be husband, Spencer, and it was time to start formal portraits. Darcy was cheered on by the best group of hype women as we took her romantic bridal portraits throughout the main floor of Tapestry House, and then they all jumped in for bridesmaids group portraits. Darcy and Spencer's daughter, Ellie, was in high spirits herself and had a blast posing with mom for the most adorable mother-daughter portraits I've ever seen!
Next it was time for Spencer's pre-ceremony portraits. We started with Spencer reading his own letter from Darcy, tears springing to his eyes, but he hid them well with a laugh telling me, "Her letter is longer than mine." From there we headed downstairs for some quick groom portraits and portraits with the groomsmen and Ellie. With all our pre-ceremony photos checked off, it was finally time to get ready for their ceremony. Originally, the two had planned to say their "I Do's" outside, but with the cold, gloomy weather they chose to move their ceremony to Tapestry House's indoor ceremony site which turned out to be a fantastic choice in not only keeping everyone warm and comfortable, but also in heightening the intimate, romantic feeling they wanted for their wedding photos.
After their heartfelt ceremony, it was time to finish family and wedding party photos and capture their newlywed portraits. Once we finished with their family and wedding party portraits, Darcy and Spencer were too cold to stay outside, so we popped back inside and got the most dramatic, ultra romantic newlywed portraits on the main floor of Tapestry House. With the hardest part of the day over, it was finally time to eat and party! The happy couple enjoyed a delicious meal with their loved ones, topped off by cheerful toasts and cutting their cake. The rest of the night was spent dancing and chatting with all their favorite people, buzzing with excitement for their honeymoon the next day!
Darcy and Spencer couldn't have had a more gorgeous wedding day! Congratulations Darcy and Spencer!
